I feel like a trip to Vegas just isn't complete without dining at one of their delicious buffets.
Pros: (My faves)
- They have Ramen & Pho!! And the broth is actually pretty good!
- Soup dumplings and other dim sum options - my faves were the steamed shrimp dumpling and pork buns
- Salmon nigiri was on point!
- CRAB LEGS!!!!!!! SHRIMP! OYSTERS!! - even though they are served cold, they are still delicious
- Waffle cone filled with Maple fried chicken and waffle fries
- Made to order gourmet street tacos!
- Ribs, Turkey, Steak, Pork chops...
- Mexican style corn on the cob
- Dessert station was truly impressive (aren't they all though?) - Snow cream station, crepes, gelato, fudge station, cake pops, macarons, and tons of small pastrys and mini-tarts - Definitely go for the Crepe and Gelato though!
- Service was attentive
Cons:
- 75% of the items that we ate were COLD/DRY and seemed to have been sitting out too long
- Congee soup was bland
- Pineapple chicken paella was dry and had a stranger flavor
- Tuna nigiri and sushi rolls were dry or mostly made up of rice
Understandably, we came during the crossover from lunch to dinner, but the food is the same and I feel like they should have been better about replenishing. We have pulled this move at other buffets on previous trips and have never had an issue with everything being cold. Our soup dumplings didn't have any soup inside :(
This place is a solid 3.5***** with definite potential for 4 stars as long as things can stay fresh throughout the day.
*Tip* Try to get in before they cross over to dinner prices at 3pm
*Pto-tip* Starve yourself all day and arrive at around 2:15pm to wait in line so that you only pay $37 instead of dinner prices $53 (I have no shame)
