It was our first time staying at Magnuson, and I have to start out by saying that the customer service was excellent. Friendly staff, and easy check in and check out. There is no deposit or parking fee.
Location is great and very easy to get around. They also have a free breakfast to guest as well that serve eggs, bacon, toast, waffles etc.
The rooms are something left to be desired. When we walked in it smelled like someone was smoking in there. The air conditioning while cold, left a strange swampy feeling in the room. The bed was very uncomfortable, as well as the pillows and I could not get decent sleep.
We also checked out the bar--again something left to be desired.
Overall, this is a budget motel. Not too bad, wouldn't stay here again though.
