I went grand opening day around 10 am with all four of my kids and was a pleasant and fun experience! There was a raffle being offered to win $300 grocery money. We first entered and noticed how busy yet clean, fully stocked, and organized everything looked. Very easy to look at products. I loved the floral area and every other area, like the bakery, salad bar area, etc. The kids all received a free balloon, along with free samples all throughout the store, even free lollipops were being given away. I think Smiths should always have free samples of food and items every day. Almost similar to Costco. It is always fun to try new things and then even more fun to buy it when you are surprised with how good it tastes.
I was sad I didn't get to try the Ruby Snap cookies. They didn't have any available when I went. I look forward to eating more at The Cousins Maine Lobster.
We used the self check out and it went pretty quickly. I am already planning on my next visit to this new marketplace.
