I'm glad I don't live or work by this place; if I did, one of two things would happen:
1. La Bamboche would lose its "special treat" novelty.
2. Every penny I had would be squandered away!
The croissants are heavenly. The coffees are good and strong. I have yet to try a macaron, but they look scrumptious.
What's there not to like? Pleasant staff, bright unpretentious atmosphere, nice area. I sat next to two French gentlemen who looked like they had been there for hours, as though they were in someone's living room. They were tucked in with a teapot, mugs and saucers; occasionally asking for more tea or a croissant from barista in their exquisite accents...
