Great restaurant in Las Vegas. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the house-made sauces really brought out the flavor of the beef. The wine list was phenomenal. All of the sides were done well, including one that I would almost NEVER get, the brussel sprouts - delicious. Service was a solid B+. Our server was extremely formal in dress, demeanor, and verbiage, which I welcome - but maybe it was even a bit robotic for me. I love fine dining restaurants, but when I can't really connect to the server because the service feels forced, it becomes less desirable; and borderline uncomfortable. The hotel that this restaurant is in was a serious turn off. It's an old, dusty, cheesy hotel. If you're coming here for a special occasion, I feel that some of the specialness may be lost when having to leave your car in the sad parking lot of the Royal Resort. Luckily, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Dark, comfortable, and romantic; with high booths and light background music for privacy. It really didn't match. I feel that the clientele of the hotel and the clientele of the restaurant would almost never overlap. Move this into the City Center, and that would be much more fitting. Meal was between $150 and $200 for two of us, so it was more Strip-level pricing. Not sure if that makes a lot of sense to me. It felt a little overpriced due to the okay service and less-than-ideal location. 60/40 chance of me revisiting.. But the steak was amazing.
