A southern gem in my hometown of "northern" Montreal!
Fried chicken is great with kick ass home made gravy. I won't say it's the best southern fried chicken I've ever had, but hey, this is Montreal not the low country of the south or one of my faves Mrs. Wilkes in Savannah.
My kids love the Mac n' Cheese although it is a little smokey in flavour.
Biscuits are good but my absolute favourite go to are the hush puppies with ranch dressing. I'll say that I am typically not a ranch kind of guy but these are absolutely delicious.
They have some interesting mixed drinks that seem to change with the season and for those who don't drink alcohol... they have Diet Dr. Pepper!
