Straight forward: I like it! I've even developed a tradition with Kate M. to hit this place up on Saturday or Sunday mornings/afternoons to debrief our weekends and lives.
The baked goods are always inviting and when I choose to indulge, I am not disappointed. But the coffee and drinks! Not just good, pretty. So is the barista who has made a tradition of pouring the hot milk for a latte in just the right way to make a heart appear on the surface. I know he does this for almost everyone (alternating with a leaf pattern) but still, I appreciate the detail and love.
Having said that, the servers are NICE. Yes, a bit particular, I was once asked to wait for my friend in line and not save the table for us, but the request began with "Darling" and I understood. The place is small. It gets busy. Plus, their system proved to be a better one anyways because once my friend got there we were in prime position to order and another table had opened up!
