Never in my life did I think I would have to go out of my way to write a review because I usually give the benefit of the doubt but after BEING ASKED TO LEAVE, it had to be done.
It's my first time in Arizona and I needed another membership do to traveling purposes (since LAF is universal) I'd thought I'd give it a try.
I made VERY CLEAR that I have a California ID and I understand if I need to pay for a day pass (since that's how my local gym works) First two representatives told me it's okay, and theyd offer me a pass to check out.
I was very appreciative and thankful then was transferred to membership desk. Membership staff was in the middle of writing me a 7 day pass. Then another staff member (named Sam I believe, probably a manager) approached him and told him not to write the pass and asked me to pay....
Not sure if he's racial profiling but he could've easily apologized for the misunderstanding and let us try it out since they already said we could try it out. How else is someone supposed to try out a gym?(Apparently as he says... He "just signs them up")
Gave him advice on how he SHOULD treat guests and I guess it messed with his ego. So he instantly provoked and asked us to leave. Lol
Lost himself 3 memberships. Went to another LA Fitness and was treated very kindly.
Do not go to to this location.
