I came here for a manicure and pedicure today. It was $35. I asked how much for Shellac on the hands and she said it would be $55. When I used to live around St Lawrence Market area, it was only $10 extra for Shellac, so I'm not sure why it was so much more.
The manicure and pedicure was pretty good. The lady did a decent job and no smudges or cuts on my cuticles. Also, she kept asking if I was happy with how she filed my nails, which I appreciated.
The salon itself was a bit of a mess though. It smelled like food inside. However, it was a bit after lunch so maybe they just heated up their lunches, so I can let that go. But it was pretty filthy in there. So dusty, and you can see the nail clippings all over the floor. Also, there were 2 employees sleeping on the pedicure chairs with their jackets over them. And they kept talking to the lady that was doing my nails. It just seemed kinda odd.
