Paid to have a knee operation. Did the pre-operation paperwork, paid the $700. Was told it was VITAL that I be there at 11am for a 4 hour operation and to make sure I had someone wait for me. Then the night before I get a phone call telling me that the doctor wanted to do a shoulder surgery at 11am instead and demanded that I come in at 3pm. Rescheduling a 4 hour surgery 17 hours before he demanded that I be there with a ride home ? I requested a refund and was told no because *I* was the one that was canceling !?!? Really ? I couldn't get a ride at 3pm with just 17 hours notice. Very unprofessional. I've filed a complaint with the Nevada Medical Board and trying to get my money back in small claims court.
