Formocha recently opened the Yonge and Finch area in addition to the numerous bubble tea stores already here. I came to their soft opening where they had the promotion of $2.99 on select drinks. Unfortunately, I didn't like any of those drinks so I picked the Formocha milk tea. None of their drinks come with tapioca or any topping except for the bubble milk tea. I had to add 50 cents for my tapioca.. There wasn't anything spectacular about my drink. It tasted a but bland and the tapioca was undercooked. Lots of room for improvement when they actually launch their grand opening! The menu does not have much variety compared to Sharetea, Chatime or CoCo. They seem to specialize in more tea based drinks rather than milk teas... If that makes sense. I certainly don't feel like the price is worth it for drinks that come with no toppings already costing me $5. Given the strong competition in this neighborhood, Formocha is definitely not my number one choice.
