Poor Customer Service - was scheduled to have internet service activated by 5pm on 9/2. After 6pm, checked internet and service not activated. Several attempts to contact tech support & customer service and learned my service was still pending. Told me tech spent longer than expected with another customer. Rep. Stated I was first on the list to have service turned on by 8am on 9/3. By 8:30am still no service. Again several attempts to contact customer service and was told different stories. Will have to wait again until 5pm. One agent attempted to send page to tech. & manager because of delay. Never heard from anyone. Called again and told to wait until 5pm. Because I work from home, worked a few hours from a McDonald's then went to a local library. Have been a loyal customer for over 13 years. Because I had to activate my services again because I was out of town for a few months, this has been the worst experience I have encountered with Centurylink. If no resolution soon, I will take my business elsewhere and not recommend Centurylink to anyone. Not sure if anything will come of this, but I submitted a complaint with Customer Relations to make them aware of the lack of customer service.
