This movie theater NEEDS to be shut down and upgraded immediately. I see they updated the soda machines. WHY are the theater seats in such poor condition? Management should be ashamed of themselves!! By looking at the POOR WORN OUT, STAINED, RIPPED condition of those seats especially in theater 21 I guarantee those are the same seats they're still using since opening day back in 1998. The whole Downtown Phoenix area around AMC is renovating, upgrading and building new businesses yet The AMC Arizona Center theater does nothing? Disgusting. I got a refund and left. I plan on contacting corporate. The condition of the theater seats is an embarrassment to Downtown Phoenix. To even think just blocks away are some expensive upscale high rise condos and apartments. Wow. I'll NEVER go back. Not until they upgrade those disgusting nasty seats. Gross.
PS: I walked in with the lights on and lord have mercy, The Arizona Center in Downtown Phoenix was exposed. All I can say is I didn't want to risk any creature jumping on me that may possibly be living in those seats.
