Three weeks prior to my trip to CA I reserved a Camry. It offered great gas mileage, big trunk and a roomy back seat for family members. We were departing on a Sunday morning so we went to pick up the car on Sat night. When we arrived we were told that there were no cars available just an open back truck. There was nothing we could do on such short notice, we were stuck with the truck. This was a problem because there was no trunk available to store our belonging safely and the back seat which should have been for family members was now full of luggage and coolers. There were no straps to secure anything down. Also, we usually make it down to CA on a full tank of gas. We had to stop 1/2 way to fill the truck up and had no choice but to pay over $4 per gallon for the gas. We had to do the same on the way back. I wrote in to customer service and explained my overall dissatisfaction and explained to them how much extra we had to pay for gas. Today I get an email with an apology for the inconvenience they caused me and a refund of $20.00. They obviously have not filled a truck up lately. Shame on you Budget
