Wow is all I can say. I finally was able to check this place out, something I've been meaning to do ever since my coworker recommended it to me.
From the outside it looks fairly unassuming, but don't let that fool you. This place is legit.
I wish I had taken more pictures; I absolutely love the decor. It's very homey, and the rainbow checkered floor makes me so happy. There's also jazz music playing in the background. You feel quite relaxed here.
We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and seated promptly. The service was amazing, as the staff frequently checked in with us. The chef also walked around the room and chatted with customers. I love that personal touch.
I ordered the Trio Salad, which was essentially three types of salad - egg salad, tuna salad, and lobster salad. It normally comes with grapes, but they were out and the chef personally came to ask me if I would like watermelon and strawberries. I said yes, and was very pleased as they were extremely juicy and sweet.
Before we got our check, we received chocolate chip cookies with caramel drizzle, compliments of the chef. That was a very nice touch and greatly appreciated.
From looking at their menu, it looks like it's also a great spot for breakfast and brunch. I will definitely be back!
