I was so very happy that the total price and the location of the hotel were reasonable and convenient because the other selling points were disappointing. Upon arrival, after 5pm, the room was not ready - strike one. Breakfast is always a good selling point because that reduces the cost of eating out for the duration of the stay. The breakfast here was edible but that's about it. Biscuits, gravy, eggs, waffles, cereal, tea and coffee. They ran out of cream for the coffee and butter for the biscuits. The coffee and hot water were both cold...we had to ask for hot each day. Room service skipped our room but brought us towels and a vacuum to clean ourselves. Ridiculous, right? We thought so. The manager saved the day by crediting us $25...which has yet to be reflected in my bank statement. Although the room was non-smoking there was an odd smell. Very strong smell that we couldn't quite make out (smoke? Chlorine?) coming from the bathroom. Not really much more I can say. I wouldn't stay there again. Hopefully your experience will be better.
