Update: So sorry to say this, but you were all right about this place, slimy as can be. I called asking for a refund for the unperformed services as I came into a financial hardship. They said they would call me back (of course they didn't). Two days later I called again and they said I owed them about $288. I had prepaid for services and they stole my money. I asked for an updated bill and they changed the billing details. It's sad because the service was good, but they are fraudulent thieves. AVOID THESE SCUMBAGS! Original Review: I'd like to start off saying, I hate going to the dentist. This dentistry office was different than previous experiences however. After scheduling an appointment, I was seen by the dental hygienist, Ernesto. He took the x-rays and started my cleanings. My gums were sore, and he explained to me why and that I would need a deep cleaning with numbing. I was able to come in the next two days to get a deep cleaning by Ernesto. To my surprise, they covered my co-pay for the cleanings (a couple hundred dollars worth due to the type)! They have a sign in one of the rooms that patients with insurance receive free cleanings. No one wants to go in for dental work (but this is a necessary evil), no one wants to pay hundreds for a cleaning (and I didn't have to), and no one wants to have to take off work to do all this. Because of their hours, I was able to schedule the second two cleanings on a weekend, as well as my 4-week follow up. Ernesto & Dr. Espinoza were also very helpful in educating me about dental hygiene. I learned more in that dental office that first day that I had learned my whole life when if comes to periodontal disease and flossing. I also purchased an electric toothbrush from them, and they threw in some toothpaste, mouthwash, and an extra head for the toothbrush. I never felt cheated or lied to (which I usually do when I visit a dentist), and everything they diagnosed, they clearly explained using photos that I watched them take from inside my mouth. Highly recommended! I looked over some of the other reviews here, mostly complaining about long wait times. I usually wait about the same at any doctors office as I had to wait here (about 30-45 minutes after appointment). However, my initial appointment was made same-day and they were very flexible with my schedule. The only complaint I could have is that they were unable to perform one of the procedures that I had planned on getting in the third day of my cleanings. They said if I still wanted it that day, they could do it but I'd have to wait an extra hour or two. I was fine with putting it off until my follow up though, as I was ready to be done with dental procedures for awhile! Anyways, I will update this review come 4 weeks from now to let you all know what happened. As a rule of thumb, don't pay for anything anywhere in advance if you don't have to. I didn't mind doing so since they covered more than the cost of the other procedure themselves that I would have had to pay for the cleaning out of pocket.
