Hospital staff as far as my surgery and hospital stay went were fabulous but whatever you do don't pay them upfront.
I was contacted prior to my surgery and asked to pay my high deductible prior to admission which I did. My insurance wrote the bill down so I had overpaid Scottsdale Healthcare. Once they have the money it took a lot of phone calls to get it back. In addition, I have a secondary insurance which they keep telling me they will invoice but according to my secondary they have not received the information. Very frustrating.
