The hotel was aesthetically pleasing. The rooms were exception with awesome hardwood floors, tall ceilings, and gigantic windows. The hotel staff was helpful for the most part. My biggest complaint deals with a broken thermostat. It's December 23rd and it's cold outside. Freezing in fact. That being said, we were hoping for a room with heat. Unfortunately that is not what we received. We tried setting our thermostat multiple times and it would work for a few minutes and then stop and flash the word "problem" below the temperature. We never got our hotel room to go above 64 degrees. We mentioned it to the front desk and they sent someone up to do exactly what we had been attempting but they assured me that it was now fixed. It wasn't. We were only staying at the hotel for a single night so we just bundled up under covers and towels and treated it like we were camping. It was a very cold night. The morning was just as cold. Taking a shower in a 60 degree room is no fun. I hope they get this fixed before booking it out to someone else.
