Republic Ramen + Noodles Looking for a goto Ramen Restaurant in Phoenix, Tempe or Scottsdale. This one is not bad but difficult to compare with Los Angeles or San Francisco. Good size bowl of Ramen with average amount of condiments added to the bowl. The Original Broth is good a little on the salty side. To me, one of the most important factors in Ramen is how good the broth soup base is, any restaurant can add as many high end condiments but if the soup base is to hot or not a smooth tasting or appeasing for me, you have automatically lost me. Ordered the Ramen with original broth with Tonkatsu, like I mentioned the soup base was on the salty side, but not bad, other than that the bowl had had average amount of other items. Overall I would say it is one of the better Ramen places in town but still searching for that go to Ramen House in town. In my opinion, this place caters very much to the younger crowd mainly students from nearby ASU, so they will not be as particular as myself
