Bona Via is located near Ellesmere & Markham rd, which is probably why I haven't notice it much. It's a Bakery & Cafe, standard if you've been to similar Italian stores. What stands out is that on the side, they have a Specialty Cake subsidiary known as "CakeStar"(Cakestar.ca) which offers your variety of special occasion CAKES. *2.5* Stars
What was a bit disappointing as a WALK-IN customer was that the Dessert/Pastry fridge was small and had only solo variety of Individual Cake(Tiramisu) and less than a handful of Cannoli choices while all other are Miniature Cookies. There was a rotating fridge displaying a few Whole Cakes.
The decor is pretty much the Grocery/Gift Package/Desserts themselves as they display Aged Balsamic Bottles, Cake Toppers, Individually packed Brownies, Breads, etc... There is a dining area set in Italian Bistro setting for the Italian Cafeteria diners having Pastas, Pizzas, Paninis, Salads, etc...
