I used to go to Scooter's regularly as a middle schooler and always had the absolute best time. So, imagine my excitement when my friends planned a little skating party for a Tuesday night (apparently "adults only", 16+). The place hasn't changed in years! I even recognize some of the Halloween decorations. It cost me $13 for entrance and roller skate rental, and other than the fact that I am an absolute walrus on land in roller skates, the entire experience was perfect. Top 40 and retro hits coming through the speakers, disco ball spinning away, three people in light-up skates circling the rink in unison; I could not have asked for more (except maybe a little skating skill).
The venue was pretty empty on this Tuesday, with about 25-30 skaters at any given time. Apparently, it's rammed on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons, so skate carefully if you venture in on those days!
