  • No medusa were observed. We sailed in easterly about 12–15 knots (strengthening as we progressed offshore), sea between 1 ft to 2–3 ft (higher as we \'wested\'), cold, water was not very clear, with lots of floating matter from the rains of the last week, so nothing could be seen under the surface. A considerable current of the Kishon was between the Kishon breakwaters and Haifa port, about 3/4 knots. (he)
