  • I have had nothing but a decent experience here. Granted I pay such a low rate, I could be sleeping on a cot, and I couldn't complain. It's Vegas...for all the other reviews that are complaining about their "lowest (cheapest) rate they got online", what did you expect? The average cost for a hotel in Vegas is about $200, if you pay 25% of that...hello? Yes, it's old. Yes, there is smoke lingering in the vicinity. It's a smoking city. You walked through the lobby. Didn't you see the fools smoking at the slot machines? Did you really think you would be completely isolated from the cigarette smoke of an entire city? It's not the "Magic" Best Western. If you want a Platinum experience, get off your tight wallet and walk across the street to the Encore, Wynn or Palazzo. Pay your $400 a night and enjoy. Each room is set up like a suite. Some rooms have 2 beds, some have a bed and a pullout. So, for you and your 3 cheap-ass friends, don't complain, be happy someone let you crowd into their room and STFU. The rooms have fridges and coffee makers in the small kitchenettes. I have never had a bed bug experience and as a commuter, I stay here about twice a month. The staff has always been cordial to me. The bartenders are actually rock stars considering the clientele. I mean really, who wants to deal with a bunch of whiny, f'ng people pissed off they didn't get their $50 bucks worth? Beers are $5. F I V E one dollar bills. There was a salad on the menu for $2.50, I believe. Really? What do people expect? It's like people who buy an airline ticket for $39 or $59 dollars then complain that it was crowded and they didn't get a meal. It's a ride bitch! I'd like to see you try to drive across the country on $59 dollars. And do you expect a snack at Conoco? I didn't think so. The only complaint I have is the airport shuttle service. It only runs on the hour and may stop on the strip to drop off more inconsiderate people who have no awareness that most hotels don't even offer a shuttle to the strip. Tip your driver jerkwad! I work in the airline industry and have seen so many travel atrocities, it is not hard to stand up for hotels like this that cater to people with NO MONEY or those who waited til the last minute to travel. This is not their fault, say thank you. Get over yourselves, you got to go to Vegas.
