  • I do not recommend the miso ramen; it tasted overwhelmingly of white pepper and freezer burn. (I had two other people try it to confirm I wasn't just crazy and imagining things - yep - freezer burn!!) The sushi is okay; I've had better in AZ. Udon was good but if you've lived any significant amount of time in Japan it won't blow you out of the water or anything. Our only complaint about the tempura was that it was too small. Yummy kabocha is worth a star to me! :) The customer service was... interesting. We came at lunchtime on a weekday and it was very busy, so the slow service was totally understandable. However, our server was very abrupt and practically threw dishes onto our table without even so much as a "Here you go." Wow! My husband is a recent immigrant from Japan and he was hoping to find a place where he could get a taste of home to satisfy his cravings. At least as far as ramen goes, Cherryblossom Noodle Cafe won't be it.
