  • Had the best time today because of Papillon Helicopter Tours! The hubs and I are in Vegas for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a handful of things planned, but the grand celebration tour from Papillon was the one we were most excited for and they didn't disappoint. We were picked up at our hotel, drove out about 30 min to Boulder City to their own small airport. Check in was easy, scales were built in right in front of each counter. We watched a safety video, waited about 15 min until our pilot Daniel called our names. We took our pics in front our helicopter with Daniel before we boarded. Each helicopter holds 6-7 passengers, depending on everyone's total weight I assume. Your seats are assigned for even weight distribution for the helicopter but the view is still good sitting in the middle seats. We took off to see Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, Fortification Hill and the Grand Canyon. We landed for our champagne picnic with the canyon surrounding us and the mighty Colorado River right below. I almost didn't wanna get back in the helicopter to fly back home. Thank you Papillon Helicopter Tours for an incredible experience. It was our first helicopter ride and the husband's first time seeing the Grand Canyon. Definitely recommend them for an awesome helicopter tour!
