We did the Puzzles of Superstition Mountains room and, while we didn't love the room (I'll get into that more in a few), we still had a fun time and I can't say enough great things about the customer service we had.
I initially contacted The Crypt to inquire about room availability and from the first response I got, John was very friendly and extremely helpful. He didn't have anything available for that same day (which is what we were wanting) but he offered us some other options and was extremely accommodating to get us something booked within our schedule. His correspondence was prompt and he really went above and beyond. I was already impressed based on that interaction alone before we even got there to try the room.
As far as the room, it was quite challenging. I felt like some of the puzzles didn't really make sense and didn't fit the theme of the room and they weren't all linear. I did really like the method for requesting and delivering the clues though and how the clues remained on the monitor throughout the game. We made it out with a few minutes to spare but I felt we really tanked it. We left feeling kinda perplexed with how the room played out.
Even with not loving the first room, we would still go back to try the other room because 1) the owner is fantastic and stellar customer service goes a long way, 2) you could tell a lot of effort and thought was put into the room and 3) I've heard good reviews of the Infirmary and also have heard it's more linear so I think we will enjoy that one more.
