  • Not sure how to evaluate this hotel. Was able to get a free room for the visit so price was this was a great value! The rooms themselves at one point were top notch. Time has gone by and while they are far from run down they definitely don't feel special anymore. You can tell the difference in mattresses between the better hotels in Vegas and the lower end places. The mattress was soft, with springs that still had life in them. Was never a fan of the decor in the rooms and that hasn't changed. This place does well with the free entertainment and fine dining restaurant options. Bellagio is one of the first places I tell people to go if this is their first time in Vegas. Between the fountain show, the lobby glass, and the seasonal atrium decorations you can kill a bunch of time without spending any money. On the dining side have been to Le Cirque 4 or 5 times, Picasso 3 times, and Olives twice. Never had a bad meal at any of those visits. Their spa is one of the best I have been to. Location is fantastic, basically the middle of the strip. There is a tram that leaves from Bellagio and takes you to a spot in between Monte Carlo and Aria. I think that feature is very underrated as that stretch is my least favorite on the strip to walk. Nice to be able to avoid it. Overall I like to stay here for everything but the room itself.
