  • Went to grab some late dinner and drinks here last night. The vibe inside is pretty cozy and it very much feels like your average corner pub. We found a booth and settled in and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The beer selection is average. Appetizers: Baked brie with roasted garlic and deep-fried calamari. The brie & garlic were great--everyone raved about it and it was gone in no time at all. It came with a side of cranberry sauce and some greens. The calamari was good--not overdone, not over-fried--and a pretty sizable portion, too! For mains, we had the specials: grilled cheese with broccoli soup and angel hair pasta with seafood medley. The grilled cheese is probably the best I've had so far--great, fresh bread, real cheddar cheese and bacon! Divine. Should've been paired with tomato soup, though. The angel hair pasta came with some great garlic bread and was stuffed with various creatures from the sea. Yum. I couldn't finish and took the rest for lunch the next day. Overall, this place isn't anything special, but I would go back for some more of that grilled cheese. PS - The patio is a great place to watch a hockey game on a warm night.
