I absolutely LOVE this little diner! I am just a "bacon n' eggs" kinda gal--not too adventurous but I will tell you this--the bacon here is KILLER (I guess in more ways than one--but death by bacon might not be too bad!). The bacon is thick cut, chewy and full of flavor! (Can you tell I'm a bacon lover yet?) I order my eggs over easy--PERFECTLY DONE--every single time! The home fries are good too--although I prefer mine with just onions (not peppers) and they happily oblige. The toast is Cellone's and let me tell you, I'm a Mancini's gal but--I feel Mancini's is a bit too "airy" for toast. Cellone's yields a firmer toast which I believe is much better and tastier--good choice Eggs-R-Us! The coffee is the best I had from all the surrounding diners in our area. The waitresses are excellent--very friendly and accommodating. This place is small so there is usually a wait (and the rush of air at the door-due to the exhaust fan-when someone opens it-can be annoying) but in my opinion, it is well worth the wait. I love the mix of people and it's noisy, which adds to the ambience. It's interesting to watch the owner and the other cooks do their magic--right out in the open! They work at a small grill top but they sure can pound out the meals! The owner and his wife are very down to earth, friendly and hard workers. They deserve your business! By the way, the reviewer who mentioned "food in buckets" obviously hasn't a clue...furthermore, is food in a clean, food bucket really any worse/different than food in a bowl (other than the size or shape)?!!! Take a walk through GFS (restaurant supply/food store) and you will see a variety of "food in buckets"...sheesh! Good luck Egg-R-Us--we look forward to having breakfast with you many more years to come!!
