| - Was last here about 3 years ago and enjoyed the experience, tonight, not as much.
Arrived at 5pm and the place was pretty empty, about 6 tables outside and 4 inside with patrons so not busy by any means. We were greeted by our server and our drinks arrived timely.
Order the flat bread and fondue artichoke dip and found it to be very pleasing.
Another waitress came to our table for a lemonade refill and brought back the wrong drink.
Ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and waited...and waited...and waited almost 25 minutes for it to arrive to the table. The male who was the food runner had zero personality and served us each the wrong plate. Had to literally flag someone down to exchange them since they were so hot, they couldn't be touched let alone moved. The potatoes served under the meat were a bit overcooked and burnt. Not light nor fluffy. The tenderloin was tasty but as we progressed with the meal, the taste was saltier and saltier.
Ordered the Mac and Cheese side and my goodness, it was made up of noodles with some butter and parmesan cheese on top truly that was it and nothing more! This was a far cry from any restaurant style of mac and cheese we'd ever had and it was plain, dull and boring! We could not even believe this was on the menu or served here - a TOTAL disappointment! The waitress during dinner was no where to be seen and never came back to ask us how the dinner was. We watched her walk by the couple next to us and shout out to them "how is it, is it good guys" as she passed right on by. Not very service oriented. It took about 10 minutes after we finished to have our plates cleared.
Overall the $22.00 dinner entree was in my opinion, no where near the quality of a $22.00 pork dish, more like $16.00. We would have stayed for dessert but we were afraid it would take too long so opted to head over to Tommy Bahamas for dessert - which was amazing!!!
While the restaurant did get busier while we were there, considering we arrived with not even 25% of the place filled and the order took 25 minutes and the staff appeared to be unorganized, a bit overwhelmed and didn't seem to be too concerned that people were sitting around staring wondering where their food was...not sure I'll be back any time soon and certainly will not suggest this place in the Kierland area, too many other service oriented restaurants. Maybe they do better at lunch with a smaller crowd?
