| - So while these aren't first-class apartments, my husband and I have been very happy here for the past year. We were looking for an affordable, safe place to live, and our experience here has been nothing but great. Sure, there's the occasional insect or two, but really, how are you to avoid that, seeing as we live in a desert? My husband grew up in Hawaii in "fancy" apartments, and they still had to deal with cockroaches. It's just part of life. As long as things are kept clean, you shouldn't have to see too many of them. The new staff have been very pleasant and easy to work with. We haven't had any issues with parking, even for our guests, and we do entertain quite a bit. As long as you don't park in the covered spaces, you should be ok.
Overall, while the quality of some aspects of the units themselves are sub-standard (i.e. the fans over the stove and in the bathroom don't have the desired suction), the property is well taken care of. The maintenance team is usually quick to respond to any problems we have. And I believe the apartments are well-insulated, as we never really hear our neighbors, unless the children are playing outside or other residents are going up and down the stairs.
They are great apartments, for a reasonable price!
