| - Went here after Thara Thai (which is my favorite place to eat in Champaign). It was suggested that I had to try a Snowstorm, which is like a Blizzard from DQ.
I am a big man with a big appetite. I went with my brother and we both decided that a we need to try a few different things.
I knew I wanted Macaroon, Snickerette, or Coffee Oreo Snowstorm. I went with the former. My bro went with the Tortoise, which was butterscotch and cold fudge with almonds.
We each got Teddy Cups of the Cake Batter. I loved both items, plus I got a bite of Tortoise.
FYI: Cold Fudge is Hot Fudge...just cold. That is the exact explanation I received.
I will be back to try another Snowstorm like Snickerette or Almond Joyful!
It was hopping on Saturday night! Middle aged men, high schoolers, and the Wonder Lake Fire Department (which had some girl who hit her door against my brothers door....what the hell? No apology, either).
I had to take a star off because this isn't the best custard I've had. Ollie's in Sycamore is where I'd pick over this place. Tate's Ice Cream in Wheaton is also my five star dessert places. I'd much rather have this place than DQ, Cocomero, or Insomnia Cookies. If you're in the CU area for dessert, stop by and cool down with Jarlings!
