i took my son here to get his hair cut.
Let me start off by saying the young men at this salon are VERY nice, and VERY polite, once you get into the chair with them. They also seem very eager to succeed, with the shop owner starting in his own home to a large shop on a major street. Kudos for that.
Where this place falls short is in two areas.
1) Customer Service
There is no real adherence to a schedule, and they are completely unapologetic about it. They will routinely bump clients with appointments for their friends who walk in, or allow them to interrupt your haircut to bro hug and say what's up. Once is ok i guess, but 5x during a single sitting was a bit much.
2) These are not "real barbers"
While it is well known that you do not require a barbering license, or formal education in Ontario You Tube and online tutorials do not cut it (mind the pun), and the end result of my son's cut from this place shows it. Uneven, jagged pieces etc. Some training may help.
These guys are capable of doing a few select haircuts and that's it. If you want anything specific- do not go here.
i wish these guys all the success in the world, i just cannot get over the shortcomings they have.
