  • Sad to see people had really bad experiences during the first few days of Jewel's opening. I actually came here 6/3/2016 after a promoter approached us and added us to the guest list. We decided to go here over Hakkasan because we knew Jewel was a brand new nightclub and because Swizz Beatz was djing that night (plus I only knew one song from Rae Sremmurd which is why I opted out of Hakkasan lol). Getting in: since we were on the guest list, we came around 11:20. We had a reservation for 5 people on our list and staff was able to accommodate that request. The blonde haired security who was checking ID's was trying to mess with me and kept going back and forth trying to see if I matched my ID for over 30 seconds. It was a little awkward because he kept staring at me but I got a good laugh out of his little humor. Lol. We probably waited in line to get into the nightclub for maybe 10 minutes, and didn't face any issues. There were two guys in my party and they didn't have to pay. But I'm seeing people getting juked $40-$70 so im not sure if we went early or what. Venue: it is a cylinder shaped club that goes underground of the casino with 2 floors: the 2nd floor is for a bunch of VIP suites, and the first floor is where table service and the dance floor is in the center. It's not too big of a venue but it has a more intimate space. I noticed security always walking around and picking up glasses/bottles on the floor and making sure everybody was out of harm of stepping on something. Drinks: I ordered an AMF for $20 and it was so watered down. I was expecting to get sh*tfaced from it since I drank a few shots beforehand but it didn't do the job. If you're looking for water, expect to pay $10 for a little Fiji water bottle lol! DJ: to be honest, Swizz Beatz was an alright DJ. He had good jams in the beginning and was playing a bunch of famous tracks he produced, but once he said he was going global and starting transitioning from hip hop to random EDM songs, I got kinda bored at 2:30 and left. I give props to the DJ before him though: he had a great song selection of top hip-hop songs and even made a shout out to the Bay Area(where I'm from) and played a bunch of jams. Overall verdict: Jewel didn't let me down and I'd be down to go there once again. I had a great night and looking forward to how this place turns out for others a few months from now.
