| - SiFu yells way too much at the kids receiving instruction and the beginning of the lesson there's too much gymnastics and not enough lesson. Class size should be kept to 10 and under kids. More seating for parents to watch. Dirty and unkept place i.e. No Lysol used when kids are sick; bathroom is disgusting (dirty and walls filled w/germs). Pay close attention to the contract before you sign. SiFu will help or in his best efforts help you w/a program 4 your kid(s) but due to the language barrier it's hard to understand him - conversation was straining. He will tell you that to save on cost it's best to get more kids signed up in 1 household than wait to sign up individually; by doing this we saved $400.00 BUT before we could save the money we had to pay $1500 for the 1st child and $600 for the 2nd child AND by going this route we could kind of afford it but it was pushing it - it strapped us. I told SiFu that this bottom figure was too much $$$ to pay for 2-kids 2x/wk and he said that in order to get savings you have to sign a contract of which u can't get out of. Keep in mind, when you start going here 4awhile say 3-months we did notice that other parents were paying monthly and that would of been better 4 us do I addressed this with the lady at the front desk and she said we do have this option but you wanted a guarantee that they would come in and get instruction and I said yes, just like everyone else and they said well you had to also sign a contract because you wanted to save money because you said it was too expensive. I said yes who doesn't and she said, well other parents haven't had any problems but after your kid is going for sometime you come to realize it that what you pay is based on how you carry yourself not everyone gets the same price. In the contract it also says, no money back but totally feel this place and instruction was stupid. Coming from Kung Fu and JKD in another state that prides itself on reputation and paying a 1/3 of here - this place is a rip off due to lack of encouragement for your child (where you have to pay to get tested to move up in belt color) and complete for my 2-kids overview papers of how your child is listening at home, picking up their clothes, doing their hw, talk nicely to their parents, etc etc and if you pass these various sheets (each child received in a month time 6-sheets each then once he i.e. SiFu said ur ready to go for your belt because based on the sheets you earned your belt only then you can test; not everyone is given these sheets. I don't recommend this instructor, the staff who all have different stories, nor the atmosphere and lack of encouragement for my children or others to thrive in. Wish his business was under review and we could as a community could help him see how and what he's not getting across that might learn differently plus, there are a lot of kids that talk during SiFu's instruction and it was difficult for even the best student to focus. SiFu does say you who are talking is distracting but never seems to remove those talkers from the mat as he should especially since we as parents pay so much for our kids to get instruction- this is a big distraction. SiFu's lack of compassion and unfair contracts vs monthly payment plans is a joke!
