This place is awesome. It's Michael Mina's steakhouse in the Princess. It's very modern inside with candles and fireplaces outside. The waiters were very friendly and had a good knowledge of the menu. They are attentive with water refills and clearing the table. The pacing was excellent.
The bread to start was fresh and had a slight char on it from the grill. The compound butter served with it had great flavor.
For my appetizer, I had the octopus, charred and served with fried chickpeas and harissa. The octopus was so tender it cut with a fork. The flavor was unbelievable. This is one of the most difficult dishes to execute and they nailed it.
The oysters were so fresh and served with ponzu sauce on the half shell.
The 20 ounce ribeye was a perfect medium rare and seasoned excellently. One of the best ribeyes I've had. The fat was rendered very well for medium rare that it cut like butter.
The charred Brussels, hash browns, and spinach were also wonderful. The portion sizes were great as well.
For dessert, the candy bar and beignets were amazing.
All in all, probably one of the best steakhouses in Phoenix.
