I signed my 2 1/2 year old and myself up for a "mommy and me" cooking class. The event stated it was for as young as 2 year olds. When we got there, no one greeted us and we stood there puzzled as to what to do but then found a pile of aprons and figured we'd put them on. Very little direction given. My daughter could not even reach the counter and there were no step stools (which I assumed there would be since it was advertised for as young as age 2). We got a printed recipe and basically were told to follow it. Very bland and definitely no enthusiasm by the the lady "leading" the class--which I expected her to be a bit more engaging/animated since this was a kids class. Knives and glass bowls everywhere. It would be nice if they had a sectioned off area for the kids class. My toddler (typical of most toddlers) decided going to touch all the glass bowels was more interesting. We left shortly after the start of class because I just didn't see the experience getting any better. Print off a recipe at home with your kid and save your money.
