Attention Brugo's...you only get one chance to make a good first impression. I'm not impressed. Ridiculously slow service with two servers working and only four parties in the place during the lunch hour. My daughter and I ordered an appetizer and salad to share. The appetizer took awhile but was very good....tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, red onion, and red pepper with cucumber as the "bread". It was another 20-25 minutes for a simple dinner salad. Wilted lettuce, dried carrots, tasteless red onion...and wait a second..."Doesn't this come with foccacia bread?"
The server said "No." I asked to see the menu...and yes it was there. Rule one of serving...KNOW YOUR MENU! She told me the kitchen didn't have the bread baked yet. Seriously? No apology...no offer to bring something as a substitute.
The atmosphere was very nice and the pizza at the next table looked great...but this place just left a bad taste in my mouth. $23.00 later and I'm wishing I'd gone somewhere else. Too many other great places in this area to take another chance here.
