| - This is a very small salon located in the center off Eastern, near Khoury's Fine Wines and Spirits.
I originally tried to go to another nearby salon on a Friday afternoon, but was turned away because I didn't have an appointment (although there was nobody in there). So I started back home and ended up seeing this place just up the road.
I walked in and was immediately greeted by Tony, who was with another guest. I told him that I wanted a pedicure, and Jennifer came out to help me. Jennifer was very friendly and professional and she did a great job on my little piggies!
She asked me if I wanted to trim my nails or just file them, and how short. I went for a trim. She also gave me the best leg massage I've ever had during a pedicure! I literally was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep! Normally nail techs barely rub your legs or calves, but she went all out. It was refreshing.
Jennifer also did a great job with the polish - I just got a french pedicure, but she inquired as to how thick I wanted the white, which is nice because I don't like them too thin. They did not rush me out once my service was complete and they also didn't try to force me into getting a mani as well. In fact, when I decided to leave, they said that my nails may not be totally dry and if they got smudged, come back and they'd fix them for free (they are fine, BTW).
It was only $23 for the service, which is amazing. Although this place is not really close to my house, I would be happy to stop there when I am in the area and need my nails done! Tony even addressed me by name and everyone was really friendly. I am surprised to see many of these bad reviews!
