  • So I went here tonight with a friend and we got the daily special which was half off a bottle of wine over a certain price. We picked a bottle of wine over the minimum price, drank it and then as we asked for our check were told that we had to also buy a food item. We stated and then confirmed with the menu that this wasn't listed as part of the special. We were told that this was a "common problem" and they were ordering new menus so it didn't keep happening. So we of course said that we wanted the special that was offered in the current menu, as advertised. We were told that the owner and "manager on duty" wouldn't give us the special without a food item and they could give us something to go. We were both going to dinner afterward and were actually about to leave aka asking for the check so we didn't want anything to go, just the listed special. We ended up having to get the cheapest food item on the menu, which was ironically sold out, and just had to buy it without actually receiving anything to just get out of there.
