| - First time at this location and I love it! My daughter and I walked in about 30 minutes before closing and still got excellent customer service. The girl helped me find the right type of products for "mature" skin because yes, I am old and my Birthday is on March 11 which will make me even older lol. Anyways...as I was saying, I ended up with some awesome stuff. My daughter also ended up with some skin care for "young" skin. Never too early this start taking care of your skin!
This store always has some type of sale or promotion going on. For instance, there was some buy one get one free lipstick so of course we took advantage of that.
Oh and I can't forget to mention THE SAMPLES. We were in sample heaven because the sales girl hooked us up with a bunch of samples. These samples are useful because they're especially for your type of skin: I.e. You won't get samples for mature skin if you're in your teens/early 20's.
I guess I'll end my rambling review here by saying, "Check this place out for all your K beauty needs (and wants)!" Reasonable prices, great service, and SAMPLES lol. What more could a girl want?
The store is located downstairs in the Galleria Mall, close to Macy's.
*UPDATE*
To be fair, we didn't make it to the mall till 8:30 pm.
My daughter and I visited the store on Saturday, April 21 because my daughter wanted a certain item. The lady working that evening wasn't the one that helped us during our previous visit. Saturday night's sales lady was all over the place. (As in rushing, talking fast, starting to talk about one thing then quickly changing to talk about a different item, etc.) We did find the item my daughter wanted without assistance but our mistake was staying to look around. We ended up spending over $80 of which almost half of it was sort of a waste because 1) My daughter already had one of the three eye shadows. 2) One of the products was too light for her complexion. It has a ghost-zombie looking effect on her face.
This store tends to be very generous and thoughtful when giving you sample items to try at home. This makes for an easier time seeing which products work for you and which don't. The sales lady asked which samples we wanted so my daughter picked a particular line she wanted to try out. The lady then proceeded to say, "No this one better!" Then gave a couple of samples that we have at home already.
We left the store bewildered, anxious, and kind of confused. The sales woman did give us a menu for her Chinese restaurant and told us to go there lol. I guess we will avoid this Aritaum location on Fridays and Saturdays for now. (She stated that she works these days part time.) She wasn't a horrible person, maybe she's not cut out for cosmetic sales though? I mean, everyone is good at something and maybe she is better at running her restaurant I can't afford to buy anything that can't be returned and I'd like to receive samples that will help educate my purchases a little better before shopping.
I'm not changing my 5 star rating because we like shopping here and the owner, whom I've not met but reads all the reviews and responds seems to care about her Customer's experience at her store.

Went back to the store to exchange a product that ended up being too light for my daughter's complexion. We were helped by Winnie. Winnie is amazing. She's very gracious and knows all about the skincare lines and cosmetics in the store. She also gave us the correct samples and explained how to use them. We left the store very happy and I also ended up buying more stuff lol.
