  • My husband and I first fell in love with The Lone Cypress by Peter Lik on an August 2006 trip to Vegas. The Monterey Bay/Pebble Beach iconic tree has already been photographed by millions driving along the 17-mile Drive. But Lik showed an evening side profile that makes the viewer feel as if they are sitting on those jagged rocks in the fresh-smelling cool ocean air. We had stumbled upon his gallery at the new 3-story addition to the Forum Shops, but weren't ready to begin our art collection back in 2006. After waiting six years, we finally decided to acquire our beloved piece! Our experience at the Gallery was comfortable and unrushed. Katrina was very helpful and easy going. Although our purchase was pricey, we have no buyer remorse. Lik is a talented photographer, and his eye for landscape composition is hard to beat.
