I had my thyroid removed here. The staff was nice but seemed understaffed. My room was ICE cold. Not just the normal cold you get in hospitals, but ICE cold. I asked twice if they could adjust thermostat. Nothing was done. I had to repeatedly ask for them to refill my "cup" of water, finally later I was brought a small picture of water. I was not given instructions by the staff nor my doctor upon release on how to care for my incision. It had no glue or bandage on it just open air stitches. I have no support system and advocate the best I can for myself by my mind doesn't always remember things. Especially after surgery, I thought this was a huge disservice to me, or anyone who are older and struggle with memory/confusion. If anything you would think the release paperwork would have care instructions. NOT!!!!
