| - My husband and I frequent this location about twice every 2 weeks. We have been coming here since my daughter was born ( 4 years ago ) . The waitresses and staff are always so sweet to us and my daughter. We love this place because of the service and the food!
Yesterday we came to eat here and they were closed, no sign on the door nothing. We waited outside thinking maybe they were opening a little late? No big deal. A short blonde girl walks out from the back and tells us that they are closed for the day. I asked her why and she said because her staff is protesting and did not show up for work? I asked what they were protesting and she said the " national immigrant protest " . I then asked her well are they all legal immigrants? And she said yes so then I asked what are they protesting for then ? Her response was " to support one another "
Fair enough, so I then told her , you might want to put a sign on your door so other people know! ( me and 3 other people had been waiting outside 15+ minutes . ) her response was : yes we are working on that so how about you give me some time and I'll put a sign on the door for you. ( something in that context)
I told her listen, I come here ALOT , you don't have to be rude I was just suggesting to put a sign up.. , I then looked at my cousin and said let's go to island sushi. and she proceeded to then get into a pitty argument with me about how I was being rude, and how I can try to go anywhere else but all of the other sushi places are closed as well ? I called 3 within a 5 mile radius, all open. We ended up at island sushi.
Your staff doesn't show up for work, I get it you might be stressed. But treating a loyal customer that way is just unacceptable. I know that the waitresses and sushi chefs are awesome and always treat us so good, but because she went off on me for suggesting to put a sign on the door so other people don't stand around waiting, I will never ever return. No professionalism from that girl what so ever. I drive all the way from mountains edge to eat here not only because the food is good , but because they make us feel like regulars. I will never ever eat here again, my family will never eat here again and I will make sure all my friends on social media know the way my family was treated because you chose to close for the day, and take your frustration out on me. Your customers are the foundation of your business, and when they are spending hundreds a month at your location, and you treat them like that, you will go out of business fast.
