| - Really upset with Things Remembered....Ps, I'm never about bad reviews because I know mistakes are made and I work in customer service but this was a careless move. Went in to find my brother a gift for graduating bootcamp in the marines; I found a small clock with a sliding cover and though that would work. So first I was told that they didn't have any in stock (based off all of the reviews, no surprise there) coming from retail myself they shouldn't be displaying so many items if they don't have it available. Anywho, I was told we could order it online. A little while later, I had finally made up my mind and decided I wanted to order it. Another lady started to help me telling me it's not available online or at any other stores so my only option was to buy the display. Hmmm, weird. I was told they would polish it up and put in some batteries, yada yada... filled out the paper work told it would be ready Tuesday, cool. (I had to have my mom pick it up since I was working) First strike: she picked it up and it wasn't even in a box. She literally had to ask them for a box. Second and third strike: I come home later and make sure everything looked good and there were fingerprints all over it (everywhere) it wasn't even cleaned. Not even attempted. NOR were there any batteries. I don't know how they could just hand me the clock all dirty like this, not boxed up, not polished, no batteries. If I'm going to spend over $130 on something small that according to the store posses some value, then it should posses some fucking value. Thanks for the memorable experience. Not happy at all.
