  • 2 Stars is for this particular night's server, not the food- which is always excellent. We live near Liliana's and have been here multiple times. The food is ALWAYS excellent. Last night we were there with a group of 6. We ordered 3 appetizers. 3 of us ordered salads. All of us ordered entrees. When the salads came, one was a half and two were whole. The half was huge and the whole could feed an army. A large army. When two if us said that we hadn't wanted that large a salad, the server said, "the menu says half and whole." I said, "Then you should ask us whether we want half or whole". She said, "If you don't say, we give you a whole." I said, "Then you should change that and ask." And they should. When a server is snotty with you, it colors the experience. (BTW, we heard a different server explain the salad size difference to a neighboring table, so we know it is not Liliana's policy.) Several of us had the short ribs- and as usual- EXCELLENT! We will be back, but really Liliana's, train your servers in this area. Ridiculous.
