  • I had a great eye exam there in 2006, I think by Stacey, before they became My Eye Dr. I can't say if the name change or the doctor I saw was the problem this time but they gave me a useless prescription. I was supposed to be examined by Dr. Nguyen and she was training some new guy and stepped out while he was doing the refraction exam for the prescription. and he put together the new prescription. He seemed to want to complete it as fast as he could. I looked at a few frames there but their prices were so high I asked for my prescription. They seemed put out by that and tried to scare me into thinking they were the only place that was really qualified to make my glasses. The prescription they gave me was off, and I went back to them a week later they reexamined my eyes and gave me a new prescription. It was no better than the first, and after another week my eyes were were so strained they were were sore and starting to ache. I called my insurance company and talked to them about what was going on and they approved an appointment with a different eye doctor. I went to one who did not sell eyeglasses, and the prescription she gave me was different and I was finally able to get glasses I can see with. Unless you are going to get your glasses made there you are not likely to walk away with a valid prescription.
