  • Chapman Volkswagen should be avoided at all costs. Go to literally any other VW dealership in the valley, you will be happy you did. I had multiple, terrible experiences with Chapman VW just over a year ago when dealing with their service department. In the end, I was charged over $1,300 for repairs for my vehicle in order to get it running. It wasn't until I went to Lunde's Peoria VW (my preferred dealer now) that I was told the Chapman VW should of never charged me for any of the work they performed on my car! It was all covered under the drive-terrain warranty (my 30,000, 3-year warranty had expired a few months earlier). Chapman VW scammed me out of over $1,300. After learning this from Peoria VW, I immediately called Chapman and demanded my money back. They blamed their incompetence on the computer. Maybe they should realize where the incompetence really lies, in the employees. Fortunately they gave me the money back but they took their time. As I said above, I now only go to Peoria VW. They are incredible! Always know what they are talking about and know what to do to my car. I recently performed the 40k service for my car and they beat all the other dealerships by about $300-$500! Lunde's Peoria VW is rated number one in the country for their customer service, and there is a good reason why. If you can make the drive out there, I highly recommend it. If not, make sure you don't screw yourself by going to Chapman VW where they will more than likely try and steal your money and lie about it later. Edit: I completely forgot to mention that the service techs over at Peoria VW were pretty sure that the service department at Chapman VW were responsible for some of the repairs necessary for my car! My intake manifold had broken in a way that was, as the service tech told me, only possible by removing or installing the intake manifold. You have to take the manifold off to access the ignition coils/fuel injectors (the things that were broken and "fixed" by Chapman VW). The service techs at Peoria VW told me that in their professional opinion Chapman VW had caused the damage to my car. I would never recommend Chapman VW to anyone. They will damage your car and conveniently forget to let you know.
