| - This is for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
I've been taking my car here for a few years now and am very satisfied. I have an '03 Solara that's in great shape and I'm never forced into unnecessary purchases by this team. Whenever something needs to be worked on, it's done in an appropriate amount of time and I'm taken care of. If I need to be dropped off somewhere or provided with a loaner if the service needs more than a day, those needs are filled by Riverview.
Today I went in for routine maintenance. My appointment was with AMANDA and she was very friendly and welcoming. She quoted me a time frame and my car was done within that. While I waited, I enjoyed some ESPN, a donut and some coffee. While waiting, I watched AMANDA help other customers and saw professionalism in all that she did. She didn't ignore anyone like you are typical of seeing at dealerships, and made sure she got her work done efficiently!
Most of you feel that dealerships overcharge for everything. This is what I've learned over the past few years. You may pay more at a dealership, but lately, it's really not that much higher than other repair shops. Jiffy Lube was charging me $70 years ago for a synthetic oil change and the dealership charges me about the same, yet I also get a tire rotation, an exterior wash, and a thorough inspection with piece of mind knowing if something is found, it'll be addressed.
Also for everyone out there servicing your cars, keep this in mind. Dealerships post to CarFax when your vehicle is being worked on; others do not! Think about that when you go to sell your vehicle and wonder why you're not getting as much for it when someone else with the same car, in the same condition is getting more $$$. Buyers look at CarFax!
